Acústica Marina as Part of the External Entities Associated with the FuSA System Project
Acústica Marina is one of the external entities associated with the project «Integrated System for Environmental Sound Source Analysis: FuSA System», led by the Acoustics and Informatics Institutes of the Faculty of Engineering Sciences at the Southern University of Chile.
Recently, researchers from these institutes secured funding for the FuSA System project through the Fondef Idea I+D 2020 Competition. This initiative results from collaboration with various companies and institutions with which previous projects, agreements, and joint research have been conducted.
The project aims to develop a system that integrates acoustic measurements of environmental sound sources with detection and classification analysis using deep neural networks.
The external entities associated with this project include the Ministry of the Environment and the companies VitGlobal, Gerard Acoustic Engineer, CAPTA, and Marine Acoustics.
